 CMAC Mining Group was originally founded by Mr. Claude MacDonald in September 2003.
In 2007, CMAC Mining Group enters into partnership with Thyssen Mining, a leading North American mining contractor and world leader in shaft sinking. CMAC-THYSSEN was formed with headquarters located in Val-d'Or, Quebec. 
Each division of CMAC-THYSSEN Mining Group is accredited by different institutes and professional associations.
