 CMAC-THYSSEN Africa Mining was founded by Mr. Claude MacDonald in 2003.
CMAC-THYSSEN Mining Group expanded its services to the continent of Africa by setting up a new company in Zambia. CMAC-THYSSEN Africa Mining Ltd. is the result of an association between the parent company (CMAC-THYSSEN Mining Group) and African Mining Consultants Ltd. The latter company is a duly-registered Zambian company which specializes in consultancy services in the field of mining exploration, mining engineering and environmental concerns. This strategic partnership enables both parties to pool their capabilities, experience and expertise for the purpose of developing the African market.

Services CMAC-THYSSEN Africa Mining Ltd. is the beneficiary of the expertise and capabilities of each division of CMAC-THYSSEN Mining Group. With the affiliated CMAC-THYSSEN Long Hole Drilling Inc., we offer the following services:
Long hole drilling and blasting;
Drilling and blasting of inverse and drop raises;
Service hole drilling;
Drilling, installation and cementing of anchoring cables;
Hiring out of manpower;
Training of personnel in all areas of mining operations.
CMAC-THYSSEN Mining Contractor Inc. adds the following services:
Horizontal excavations of conventional or mechanized drifting;
Vertical excavations of conventional or Alimak raising;
Shaft sinking;
Underground construction and installation;
Service mine infrastructure and installation;
Technical and engineering services and equipment rental.
Quality Norms CMAC-THYSSEN Africa Mining Ltd. commits itself to abide by industry health and safety regulations and local and national laws, as well as ensuring that it obtains the required permits and conforms to the environmental standards promulgated by the client's host country. In the event of a conflict between different laws, CMAC-THYSSEN Africa Mining Ltd. will comply with the strictest version of the regulations. |
